| Young Chefs Academy in New Tampa re-opened in April, 2008. New Tampa is one of over 100 franchises across the United States and Canada which offers membership, after-school and weekend cooking classes, birthday parties, field trips, summer and holiday camps, scout troops, play dates, and quality branded cooking merchandise. More than simple lessons on how to make peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, Young Chefs Academy teaches children the lifelong skills and joy of cooking in an educational and safe environment. Budding chefs will learn basics in kitchen safety, proper food handling, food preparation, table setting and manners, all while having fun!
